BUT after day 1 I instantly became hooked and felt beyond comfortable under her care. She's so easy to work with, makes it fun, lifts me up and helps me stay on track. I started with A2B in the fall of 2019. I had started my fitness journey, I knew what I wanted but wasn’t sure how to get there.
Amanda provides the technical knowledge to get me on the right path; a sympathetic ear when I’m discouraged; and motivation when I need that little kick in the butt.
Taking advantage of the TST provides a bit of economy as well, while allowing me the advantage of a personal trainer.

I met Amanda and knew instantaneously that she was the trainer I had been searching for. Amanda’s dynamic personality makes self improvement lots of fun. I look forward to our sessions, and with her motivational techniques the hour pass quickly. Her training has allowed me to walk into the gym and be confident in my workout. I highly recommend her!

My name is Darrell. I'm 56. As we age, we tend to let our bodies go in favour of a more sedentary lifestyle. While my mind remained young, my body reminded me of my age. In fact, I felt older, with more aches and pains, having some difficulty reaching my toes, getting breathless from climbing only one flight of stairs, and seeing myself in the mirror growing into a “jolly” old man. This is not the image I wanted. I wanted my body to feel younger, stronger, fitter. I wanted it to “look” younger. I had “intended” on getting into shape many times, but it was only after knowing about Amanda's personal story of how she changed her own life, and the results she achieved in such a short period of time, that gave me the inspiration to change myself. After all, intentions are meaningless unless put into action.So I signed up with Amanda for a personal training program almost 12 weeks ago. I'm sad that the end of that program will be this week, but am seriously looking forward to this Friday when we do measurements, to see what changes I've accomplished in the past three months. I do believe that I'm going to be pleasantly surprised! I can feel the difference. I can see my face getting thinner. I look healthier. My complexion is even getting better. I have more endurance. I'm stronger! I have more energy! And my “love handles”... well, they're going away! I used to pinch 4 to 5 inches there easily and now I don't think there is more than an inch there! I still have a belly, but it's getting smaller. And while I've increased muscle mass, I have dropped 6 pounds. At work, my colleagues tell me they can see the changes! To them, I'm happier. More positive. Funnier. As well as looking so much better than three months ago. It's interesting how exercise and eating cleaner can not only make you physically more attractive, but can change your psyche.These past 12 weeks haven't been easy. It's freaking hard word I'll tell ya. And I haven't followed the program to what I should have. It's hard to change your habits. The first two months were really difficult at times, but this past month, it's different. I seem to have retrained my brain, to hit that gym and get my workouts done on a consistent basis. And my eating habits have significantly improved. I didn't have to give up everything I liked, I just had to keep my carbs and sugars down, and increase protein intake. Amanda's phone app, that she gives you when you sign up, really helps to keep track of your workouts and your nutrition on a daily basis, so that you can stick to your goals. And so that you can see your progress. And Amanda can see your progress too, and offers suggestions for improvement, to keep you on track.Amanda has taught me many different exercises that I never knew existed, and how to do them properly. She has pushed me, when I wanted to quit. And she has taught me how to use the machines in the gym, safely and effectively for the best possible gains. Without her knowledge, I would have only guessed that I was doing ok. Going forward, I feel confident in myself, that I've learned what I need to do, and how to do it, to continue on MY personal fitness journey. I'm moving forward on my own. It won't be the same without Amanda there, pushing me to get just one more rep in, but it is certainly thanks to her that I know I'll be on the right track. That's a big part of this journey. Amanda isn't meant to be there forever. She teaches you what you need to know, so you can continue without her.Physically, she won't be there. But mentally, you'll hear her in the back of your mind saying “Come on! You can do it! That makes me smile.If you're serious about changing YOUR life, get Amanda on your side!
