This is me. This is real.
The first two photos are of me at my heaviest, a few years ago. I had very little confidence, and I really struggled with anxiety and depression. I would constantly turn to food for comfort, which then lead to guilt, followed by more comfort eating.. and it felt like an unbreakable cycle. Until one day, I just woke up and something changed. I didn't want to be that version of myself anymore. I wanted to be someone better. I wanted to run with my kids, instead of sitting on the sidelines. I wanted to be a part of those memories they were making. I was at a crossroads and I had a big decision to make... It wasn't easy but I started with small changes that I could commit to. Eating better, walking, increasing my water intake. I began to notice results.
Fast forward a several months and I was ready to commit myself to some new challenges. I got myself a membership at the gym and found a personal trainer. That was when I really started to feel like I was finding myself again; a new improved version of myself.. And with the added support and guidance from my trainer, I found my love and passion for fitness. This is what ultimately drove me to become a personal trainer, myself, so that I can help women just like me, who just need a little push and for someone to understand. I know how hard it is. I understand the struggle. But it's not impossible, and the work is worth it! Trust me!
The bottom right photo is me now; over 40 inches leaner, 75lbs lighter, a whole lot stronger, and much more confident in my own skin.. This journey has helped me to grow in ways that I never thought possible. And you can do it too!
